Description
Unique Kissthebrand Technology
Vacuum Heat Drying: We complete the drying process using vacuum heat dryers. Moisture content provides impeccably reliable data and is an indisputable measure of wood quality.
Natural Black Reproduction through Modern Ebonizing: We employ a contemporary ebonizing technique without using traditional paints, which is currently pending a patent application. This technique involves the oxidation of tannins from the lacquer tree, resulting in a true black color that does not exhibit any purple or blue hues.
Exceptional Color Development: Our high-quality wood color, finished with Belgian Rubio Monocoat (VOC 0%), is a uniquely developed color that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. Even the most advanced cameras and equipment cannot fully capture its richness. We are preparing for a practical design patent to protect this innovation.
Experienced Artisans: Our team comprises both domestic and international designers and craftspeople, including medalists from functional competitions, with over 30 years of experience in the luxury goods industry.
Product Finishing Process
Craftsmanship: From the base to the final touches, each product is crafted by a Korean medalist from wood furniture craftsmanship competitions. Each artisan produces only one item, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
Cutting and Shaping: All products are crafted using the latest industrial equipment from FELDER in Australia.
Masterpiece Finishing: Each product is hand-finished by a master craftsman and inspected using the latest measurement devices.
Rounded Edges for Comfort: All wooden and resin edges that contact the body are rounded with a 2mm radius for safety and comfort.
Waterproof Jointing: When assembling wood, we only use FDA-approved Titebond 3 glue, ensuring safety and waterproofing at the joints.
Moisture Content Measurement: We measure the wood’s moisture content using WAGNER’s latest ORION930 moisture meter to ensure optimal wood quality before shipment.
Wood Moisture Content and Its Importance
Wood moisture content is critical because it influences the wood’s stability and usability. It is expressed as a percentage, indicating how much water is contained relative to the wood’s weight. Proper moisture content, typically between 6% and 12% for indoor furniture wood, minimizes shrinkage and expansion, allowing the wood to withstand environmental changes. Maintaining this moisture range is essential for the durability and quality of the wood, ensuring it can be used safely and effectively in furniture and building materials.
We recognize the effort involved in design, production, and research and development, and we extend our deepest gratitude to everyone involved. Your dedication is what elevates our brand and showcases the pride of Korean craftsmanship to the world.
