This keyboard palm rest is a premium, handcrafted product made from the rare African blackwood, mpingo, exclusively sourced from Africa. Known for its exceptional hardness and beautiful texture, this precious wood ensures that each palm rest is uniquely elegant. We use this special timber to create distinct pieces, each reflecting the natural beauty and individual character of the wood itself.
The African blackwood, mpingo used in these palm rests has been laboriously acquired and legally imported from East Africa to South Korea a long time ago. Due to the limited quantity available, the production of these palm rests is extremely restricted.
We utilize only the finest quality African blackwood, mpingo. Each piece of wood undergoes a rigorous three-week vacuum chamber drying process to select only the best quality for production. Data on the moisture content for each product is provided to ensure supreme quality.
Each palm rest is crafted using rare African blackwood, mpingo, showcasing the natural and unique patterns of heartwood and sapwood – preserving their original beauty. This approach elevates each piece from merely being functional to being a valuable collectible artwork.

This resin can be molded up to 5 cm thick in a single pour and includes chemical and technical measures to minimize yellowing over time. Use of FESTOOL 600-Grit Sandpaper from Germany
This high-quality sandpaper is used to achieve a luxurious satin texture with a matte finish. The extremely fine particles smooth and even out the surface, providing an opaque and sophisticated appearance.
Final Finishing with 4000-Grit Sandpaper
Following the initial sanding, 4000-grit sandpaper is used to further refine the surface, making it as smooth as a mirror. This high-density sanding process enhances the final touch, adding an unparalleled level of finesse.
Use of Polishing Tools and Materials from RUPES, Italy
Tools and materials from the high-end RUPES brand, known for their use in luxury automobiles, are employed to polish the surface. This step allows for a choice of an amazing glossy (transparent) resin finish that imparts high reflectivity and clarity to the palm rest’s surface, enabling users to experience the luxury firsthand.
